Frequently Asked Questions
Please reach us at contact@slushhaus.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Do you require a deposit down?
We do require a 50% non-refundable deposit upon booking of your total parties cost. Travel fees (out of our radius) will be collected at this time as well. The 50% will be applied to your final balance. We do require payment of the balance in full 7 days prior to your event.
*Travel: We travel up to 30 miles within the St. Petersburg area. Anything outside of our radius, there will be a travel fee.
Do you provide the alcohol for the mobile bar service?
Due to state laws, we operate as a dry hire. Which means we provide everything minus the alcohol. You (the host or venue) are responsible for purchasing and providing the alcohol. We will guide you on exactly what and how much to buy.
How do I pay for my event?
Payments methods that are accepted: Credit card, Venmo, Apple Pay. We will collect the balance of your event 7 days prior. You’ll receive an invoice via email.
Where can you set up? Do you need power?
We can easily set up indoors or outdoors, as long as the ground is level! We do require access to standard power supply within 100 feet from where we will be set up (we can provide a long extension cord). Our machines require a 20 amp circuit breaker. We also need access to your venue’s kitchen to access water and a sink for setup/cleanup.
Do you only serve alcoholic beverages or can you do non-alcoholic beverages as well?
We love our mocktails! A non-alcoholic and alcoholic slushy is great for kid-friendly parties.
Are you insured?
It’s Florida so we most certainly are! Slush Haus is fully insured with General and Liquor Liability Insurance, up to $1,000,000 for General Liability and up to $100,000 for Liquor Liability.
How far in advance do I need to book?
The earlier you reach out to us, the more of a possibility we will be available for your date. We suggest booking at least 2-5 weeks before your event but you can book events up to a year away.
What happens if we need to cancel or reschedule?
We understand that things happen! Reach out as soon as possible. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferable depending on the circumstances and our availability.
